'A Drop of Ink Makes a Million to Think'
RTE-RC in conjunction with Confluence, IIMA is proud to present 'IGNITE', 2016 an event to foster thought and inspiration in the field of education and social initiatives.


  • Decision taken by RTE-RC, IIMA will be final and binding.
  • For round 1, it is mandatory to present in an appendix, proof of authenticity (website links, pictures, etc.). Teams are expected to maintain the highest level of integrity in terms of information they present. Failure to prove the veracity or any false claims made by the team may lead to the cancellation of the entry. Necessary verification process will be done by the organizing committee to ensure the authenticity of the work submitted.
  • There is penalty for exceeding the prescribed word limits.
  • Entries will be judged on the basis of originality, comprehensiveness, clarity of thought and quality of analysis.
  • On submission, following details are mandatory- Team Name, Members Name and College Roll No, Name of College/ University Email Ids/ Contact Number.

Round 1

Submit a PDF detailing a 1000 word summary (maximum limit) of any work done by an individual, group or NGO (preferably in your locality) in the area of education explaining how they have added value to the society.
The document should include but not be limited to ~100 word executive summary (not included in the word limit), brief about the individual/group/NGO, work done, impact, potential for growth etc. The team may choose to send a 5 minute video as well (optional).

Round 2

Based on the quality and the number of entries, 8 best entries from round one will be selected. Each team will be assigned an NGO by us and will work with them to prepare a case.
The communication between the team and NGO will be arranged by us.

Final Round

Based on the quality of the work done, 3 teams will be selected to work on a live case and have an opportunity to present to a panel of judges and interact with the professors.
Accommodation and travel (not including food charges) will be borne by us. The details of the same shall be posted later.
Further communication about this round will be made with shortlisted teams later.
